Karats Karaoke & Disco Centre is a privately owned shop situated in the City Arcade on Fore Street, at the lower end of Exeter's High Street. There is a public car park to the rear of the arcade (in Smythen Street) to allow easy access, as well as a loading bay for those big purchases.

Chris Welch, the proprietor of Karats, has over 10 years experience in the sound and lighting industry and, working with such names as Hot Chocolate, David Essex Jethro, Right Said Fred, Abba Gold and live sound broadcasts for Gemini FM, he has gained a vast knowledge on sound and lighting kit. He is always willing to offer advice and help.

We aim to hold a wide selection of karaoke and disco hardware, to include over 800 CD-G titles, From Sunfly, EK, SAV, ProTrax, Classic Karaoke, Ez Hits & More. Plus VCDs & DVDs.

Mastermix and DMC CDs

Lighting from Acme, NJD, Martin, Lightquest and Antari to name but a few, plus sound equipment from Gemini, Numark, Citronic, Stageline, Studiomaster, Stanton, Shure, Phonic and many more.
